Carl Schurz Park Dog Run-Manhattan
The Carl Schurz Dog Run located in the Carl Schurz Park on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is a gorgeous park and dog run. This park has two separate dog runs. One is for large/all dogs, which is larger and has a gravel surface and rocks for jumping on. The large area also had a beautiful wall dedicated to dogs who have passed on which was so special. The small dog section is a separate area along the water with a beautiful river view. This smaller section has a very low fence so it's important to stick to the size limit and not risk having larger dogs jump the fence. It has a pavement surface and benches all around. They both have water stations, but as always bring your own water in the winter when the water stations are off. The two parks are in a beautiful location and have some great features!
We give this spot 4/4 paws because it is a great dog run, well maintained and in a beautiful location.
