Franz Sigel Dog Run-Bronx
Dog Park Feature: Franz Sigel Dog Run in the beautiful Franz Sigel Park, a 15.99-acre green space in the South Bronx. The dog run is a simple, fenced-in square with a natural surface of dirt, grass, and wood chips, featuring large boulders for dogs to jump on. While the run itself is small and lacks water facilities, there’s a nearby fountain with a dog bowl fountain. The park offers plenty of shade from surrounding trees and benches for relaxation. Since it is only a single section, make sure your dog is okay with dogs of all sizes. Also a bit of a warning for larger dogs, the fence is a lot lower on the south end, so make sure your dog isn’t one to jump over fences if they see something exciting on the other side. Although it's not the most expansive dog run with the best features, it provides a nice off-leash space and a chance to explore the lovely park.
We give this dog run 2.5/4 paws because it is simple but gets the job done.
