For a bar & restaurant that feels like an amazing tropical getaway while still in NYC, you have to try Gilligan’s!! They are an awesome little paradise tucked away in the middle of SoHo, Manhattan! It is only open from May to late September as they are a fully outdoor spot and completely dog friendly! There is shade and coverage in most of the bar and so many plants all around. You can just walk in if you just want to sit by the bar but if you want a table and food you have to make a reservation ahead of time. The have a small menu of seafood, appetizers and pizzas as well as a small brunch menu. Their drinks are delicious and definitely make you feel like you’re on vacation!! I tried the matcha colada and it was delicious! It’s definitely worth a visit if you want to feel like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of the city without actually having to leave.

We give this spot 3/4 paws because it’s not an all weather spot but is still awesome.
