Herbert Von King Dog Run-Brooklyn
Located in the North-West corner of Herbert Von King Park in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, this dog run is a great feature for the community. It is one of the only dog-runs in the area. It has been recently remodeled but is still working on solving some of its issues like its frequent flooding problem. This park features two separate sections, for small dogs and all dogs. The front section has a water hose for getting fresh water. It has a wood chip surface which they use to attempt to mop up the rain but it does tend to collect in the center of the large dog side so make sure to be aware when going after a storm. Overall it is a nicely maintained park, has a lot of space for running around, nice amount of benches, and some good natural shade from the trees around.
Overall, we rate this park 3/4 paws due to its frequent flooding but otherwise is great!
