Socrates Sculpture Park-Queens

Did you know that there is a dog friendly sculpture park in NYC and it is completely free? This is Socrates Sculpture Park, located in Astoria, Queens. They are located right across from the famous dog cafe, Chateau Le Woof and draws a ton of dogs to visit. Almost everyone had a dog when we were there! Dogs are allowed on leash and you must clean up after them. The park is open 365 days a year from 9am until sunset and closes early on holidays and for some special events. They have a large calendar of events to check out or you can just stroll the gardens and sculptures at your own pace any other day! The park spans 5 acres along the East River waterfront and also contains the beach at Hallets Cove through their other entrance. They have such a great community space displaying work from many different artists. As it warms up, their beautiful gardens will start to blossom so definitely check them out! We had a great time there and know you will enjoy this fun and free dog friendly activity!

We give this spot 4/4 paws for being a great dog friendly activity!
