The Wolfhound-Queens
For a cool dog friendly bar in Astoria, you have to check out The Wolfhound! This bar is a lively and welcoming spot that allows dogs inside, making it a great hangout no matter the weather. There’s a long bar, plenty of tables, and dart boards in the back, so there’s space to relax and have fun. They serve a full selection of drinks, and while we didn’t get a chance to try the food, we’ve heard great things. The bar is named after the Irish Wolfhound, one of the tallest dog breeds in the world, and you’ll see artwork celebrating the breed throughout the space. The crowd and staff were friendly, and it’s definitely a great stop if you’re in the area with your pup. Overall it was lively, welcoming and very dog friendly!
