Washington Park Dog Run-Brooklyn
Washington Park Dog Run, not to be confused with Washington Square Park Dog Run, is a dog park is located in Washington Park in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is a gravel covered dog run with two halves that has a connecting gate that allows it to expand to a larger space for all dogs. It was a great little spot tucked away between some athletic fields that is a nice use of space for dogs to enjoy! It is a little lacking in features, however, but gets the job done for now.
Apparently this dog run was planned to get remodeled but it has since been delayed unfortunately. It will possibly start reconstruction in November 2023 to be completed November 2024, so it may be out of commission as of this fall, but we will see!
We give this spot 3 paws as it is a nice dog run but a little small and lacking in features.
