Caffeine Underground in Bushwick, Brooklyn is a great little cafe that is also dog friendly. They had some awesome unique drink options, friendly staff, and the owners were even there with their little dog! This place gives awesome community vibes and people just hang out to work or read.
Chateau Le Woof-Queens
Chateau Le Woof is an awesome little dog cafe in Astoria, NY! They have two sides, one side is a dog cafe and one side is a human cafe! You can pick up a treat from the human side and bring it over to enjoy on the dog side. The dog side has a full display of treats and things you can buy for your dog.
Little Flower Cafe-Queens
Little Flower Cafe is an adorable Afghan-American owned cafe that serves Halal food, plenty of coffee and tea options, and best of all, allows dogs inside or out! They are a great little spot and get very busy so if you want a seat inside you might have to wait a bit!
Saint Michel-Brooklyn
Saint Michel is an awesome cafe in Bushwick run by @eatgoodnyc who is also the founder of @irvingsqpuppers. This spot is an awesome dog friendly cafe that is doing amazing things for the Bushwick dog community. In August 2023, they one year anniversary and also celebrated getting the funding to build a new dog run at Irving Square Park!
Tikal Cafe 2-Brooklyn
Tikal Cafe 2 is an awesome dog friendly cafe! They have two locations, this one is in Bushwick at 251 Wilson Ave. They were super friendly and had amazing food for people and treats at the counter for dogs!
Elevenses-Queens
Elevenses Cafe is a gorgeous sunlit cafe located in Astoria, Queens. This cafe was gorgeous and all the sunlight inside was so energizing. They made some delicious breakfast sandwiches that were definitely photo-worthy.
787 Coffee-Manhattan
787 Coffee is a coffee shop with 20 locations in NYC and one in NJ! We tried their financial district location at 66 Pearl St. It was a cozy little spot on a beautiful historic street in Downtown, Manhattan.
Pier 69 Market-Brooklyn
Pier 69 Market is a great little gem in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It’s located right by the water and Bay Ridge ferry stop. On a nice day, take a walk over to the pier for a beautiful view and then check out the Owl’s Head Park Dog park around the corner!
North Side Coffee-Staten Island
Northside Coffee is a cozy dog friendly coffee shop located in Staten Island with delicious drink options and cafe food. They also often have events like comedy nights and live music. They have a back patio with plenty of seating and they also allow dogs indoors if it's cold or raining. It was a great spot to check out all year round!
Black Lab Cafe-Manhattan
Black Lab Cafe was formerly a fully dog friendly cafe but since January 24, 2024, they no longer allow dogs inside as they once did. Now they only allow service dogs inside as they serve full meals. They do have an outdoor seating shack, but outdoor dining will be only allowed from April-November in NYC in the upcoming year, so this will no longer be a dog friendly location all year round.
Two Hands-Manhattan
Two Hands is an Australian Cafe with a few locations around NYC. They also have some locations in other cities too. Their Tribeca location had a nice outdoor seating setup that was dog friendly. They serve a delicious brunch with some truly amazing food that is worth a little splurge.
Vineapple Cafe-Brooklyn
Vineapple Cafe is a cute little spot located on Pineapple Street in Brooklyn Heights. It has a nice dog friendly back patio with umbrellas as well as front sidewalk seating that is covered. We went on a rainy day and the front sidewalk seating area was the most comfortable in the rain as it is fully covered.
House Party Cafe-Brooklyn
For an awesome dog friendly cafe, look no further than House Party Cafe! This local spot serves great coffee, tea, as well as beer and wine. They have great breakfast options and Mexican food for lunch and dinner.
