Get ready to embrace the fall spirit in the Meatpacking District with a fun-filled day of trick-or-treating for kids and adults! Enjoy treats for all ages, exciting games and activities, live music, and don’t miss the 6th Annual Meatpacking Doggie Costume Contest! Stores and restaurants across the neighborhood will be open, offering special goodies and surprises at every stop. Stroll through the district to fill your bags with festive delights from participating businesses.

Gansevoort Street + Ninth Avenue

2 PM: The Meatpacking District’s 6th Annual Dog Costume Contest. 

• Registration will open on Tuesday, October 15 at 10 am. 

• Onsite registration will not be available this year. Participants must register in advance to enter the Dog Costume Contest. 

• All participants must check in by 1:30 PM on Gansevoort Street to receive their runway placement. 

• Late check-ins and sign-ups will not be accepted. 

• The grand prize includes a one-night stay in a Standard King room at The Standard, High Line. Second and third-place winners will receive gift cards to Beasty Feast. All three winners will also be treated to a personalized pet portrait by artist Laura Baran.
