Callahan-Kelly Park Dog Run-Brooklyn
Callahan-Kelly Park Dog Run is one of Brooklyn’s newest dog runs just opened in August 2023. It is a beautiful dog run with two completely separate sections in the newly renovated Callahan-Kelly Park right by the Broadway Junction train station. The sides aren’t separated by small or large dogs, as they are similar in size. One is an L shape and the other is long and skinny. They both have pavement, pavers and astroturf as their play surfaces with quite a few benches around, blocks for putting your things down or for hopping up on, and they have water fountains for people and dogs in the “lobby” area, rather than in the main park. Depending on the time of day, they get a lot of nice natural shade from the nearby trees. It’s always nice to have another new dog run!
We give this dog park 3.5 paws because they did a gorgeous job but it's a little small.
