Manhattan Beach Dog Run-Brooklyn
If you're in Brooklyn and looking for a beautifully renovated dog park, the Manhattan Beach Dog Run is worth a visit. Despite its name, it's not actually a beach, but a well-maintained dog run located just outside Manhattan Beach, which becomes dog-friendly during the off-season starting October 1. The dog run itself features two sections, with the larger area covered in a mix of astroturf, gravel, grass, and dirt. There are plenty of amenities, including water stations, benches, waste bag dispensers, and even a kiddie pool with a hose so your pup can splash around.
While the dog run offers a great experience for dogs and their owners, it's a bit off the beaten path, making it more ideal for those who live nearby or are already planning to be in the area. If you're just looking for a quick dog outing, this park might not be worth the trek, as there aren’t many other dog-friendly activities in the immediate vicinity. However, the refreshing breeze from the beach and the well-designed space make it a lovely spot for a visit.
We give this dog run 3.5 paws because it is a nice park with plenty of amenities!
