Marsha P. Johnson State Park Dog Run-Brooklyn

A decent sized, recently renovated dog run located near the entrance of Marsha P. Johnson State park, this dog park is worth a visit. It has two separate sections for large and small dogs, pergolas for shade, plenty of benches on both sides, and a unique dog waste composting collection site. There is also a water fountain for both humans and dogs on both sides of the park. The ground is covered with gravel and also has some large boulders decorating the park. After your visit to the park, be sure to take a walk over to the water to see the amazing manhattan skyline view.

We give this spot 3.5/4 paws because although it is modern and well maintained, it is not the largest dog park for dogs to get their sprints in.
