North End Dog Run-Manhattan
North End dog run is a nice modern dog run located in Battery Park City, Manhattan. It is nestled in between two main roads which is a nice use of space that would have otherwise gone unused. It has two sections, for small and all dogs, but only a water station in the all dogs area. The all dogs section is nice and spacious and most people tend to stay in there. The surface is a concrete pavement, so no issues with paws getting hurt on gravel. It also has plenty of natural shade so no need to worry about it getting too hot. They participate in a dog waste composting program so if your dog goes to the bathroom there, their waste can be put to good use!
This park gets 3.5 paws because it is nicely maintained, has great shade, but is a little small.
