Parks Dog Run-Manhattan

Parks Dog Run is on the East River area of Manhattan. This park near the seaport district is tucked under the FDR highway which gives it coverage from sun and rain allowing you to run around more days than most parks. It is a fully paved park with quite a few enrichment elements like large stumps, tunnels and sculptures that your dogs can run around on. Unlike most parks that separate large and small dogs, this only has one section. It’s a great little park for what it is and makes a great use of space that would otherwise not be used for anything. The sculptural elements make it feel like an amusement park. We heard that it can be a little dirty due to the pigeons on the bridge above, but we didn't notice it being very dirty at the time.

We give this spot 3 paws because it is a bit small but the enrichment elements make it really fun!

3 paw icons representing a 3 out of 4 paw rating.
