Pier 57-Manhattan

Did you know that the Pier 57 rooftop park and food market are dog friendly? The rooftop park can be accessed via the stairs in the back or the elevator. It is a two level and nearly 2 acre park with gorgeous views of lower Manhattan, Little Island (which unfortunately is not dog friendly), and NJ! It’s definitely worth a trip during sunset! In the Pier 57 market, there are about 14 different kiosks with a variety of food and drink options for whatever mood you’re in! We stopped at The Galley for delicious lobster rolls and clam chowder. There are also sitting areas inside in the back of the marketplace where people just hang out and relax. There is also a City Winery on the lower level where you can grab a glass, sit outside and enjoy the views some more. (We didn’t stop there but just wanted to point out the option!) Overall this is an awesome spot worth a visit whether it be to grab a meal, or just enjoy the views so add it to your dog friendly list for your adventures in NYC!

We give this spot 4/4 paws because it is dog friendly indoors all year round!

Two icons, a picnic table with a red and white umbrella in a blue circle representing outdoor dog seating and an icon of a blue house with a red roof and a white paw symbol on the front in a yellow circle representing indoor dog seating.

Dog Seating:

Dogs allowed indoors at the market and outdoors on the rooftop park.

Food: Various food stalls.

Drinks: Various drink stalls including a bar.
