Sniff N Seek-Manhattan
There is a brand new dog training facility in the Upper East Side called Sniff N Seek! There you can take classes to learn barn hunting for dogs run by the awesome and passionate trainer, Jenny! Sniff N Seek is an amazing opportunity for dogs to let their instincts come out! The intro class starts out by getting your dog accustomed to the ring. They all have to wear little dog diapers to keep them from peeing on the straw bales. Then we get them comfortable with jumping onto the bales, on both the smooth and spiky sides. The next step is training them to tunnel through the bales. Finally, they bring out a rat, one of two rats that they rotate out, who is trained specifically around dogs and is kept safe in a cage. (No rats are harmed in this class.) If your dog is tempted by rats, squirrels and birds on the street, they will love this class and a chance to feel like they’re getting a job done!
