For a cool bar recommendation, try The Steel Mill in Bushwick, Brooklyn. This new spot has a lot of great food options, fun cocktails and a great happy hour. They have a huge front outdoor seating area that is not heated or covered, but is dog friendly. They used to allow dogs indoors but recently changed their policy.
We give this spot 2/4 paws for it only being dog friendly outdoors with not heat or coverage.
