Gran Torino in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is an amazing dog friendly spot that allows dogs indoors and outdoors in their vast outdoor seating area.

Union Square Park Dog Run is a nice single section dog run with a paver surface.

South is a great dog friendly bar in South Slope, Brooklyn that allows dogs indoors and outdoors.

Pier 57 Market and Rooftop Park is a fully dog friendly indoor and outdoor space! It has food, drinks and amazing views!

Freddy’s Bar in South Slope, Brooklyn is a great dog friendly bar! They are a great cozy spot with a great atmosphere. They have cool quirky decor, and a divey but welcoming feel.

We had a full dog friendly adventure in Roosevelt Island! Here is the itinerary!

We started the day by taking the Roosevelt Island Tram from 60th st & 2nd Ave over to the island. The trams costs the same as a subway swipe and if you’ve never taken one, we highly recommend it, as it’s a truly unique experience. Their site says dogs are allowed in bags, same rules as a subway, but we ended up carrying Benji on and it was just fine.

Check out this adorable dog friendly cafe and plant shop in Bushwick, Brooklyn, The Concrete Jungle! The cafe has tons of plants lining the walls, all available for purchase, along with a cafe making drinks and with a few pastries and empanada options! This spot has great vibes to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful plant filled environment.

South Slope Dog Run is a great little dog run tucked in a tiny triangle of land by the highway. It has a natural dirt surface, a few trees, picnic tables, and a large igloo container for water, meaning there was water even when most parks had their water off for the season still. It has great community vibes including a donation box, ball bin, and water jug bin.

For a great little cozy dog friendly cafe, try Casita of Brooklyn! This spot is a Latin & Greek inspired coffee shop in Park Slope, Brooklyn that has some amazing beverages, pastries and dog treats in the front! Benji cozied up next to us on the bench seating and we enjoyed a tasty tea and homemade baklava which was amazing.

The Pupster Bakery is a dog bakery in the West Village, Manhattan. They make all of their treats in house from scratch and they are all organic and vegan! They have such cute treat options as well as a ton of toys and accessories you can pick up too! They make cute holiday themed treats and as Benji enjoyed, some fun NYC themed treats too! Benji loved the I ❤️ NY cookie and we also got him a little pup passport from their awesome selection of toys and accessories!

If you’re looking for an amazing spot for a date night or special occasion dinner that’s also dog friendly, look no further than Leland Eating & Drinking House! This spot in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn has a fully enclosed, heated and covered front seating area that is dog friendly. When it is warmer, there is also sidewalk seating that is fully outside. They also have homemade dog biscuits made by their in house bakers that they brought out for Benji and beautiful dog bowls for water!
