Brooklyn Bridge Park Dog Run-Brooklyn
Brooklyn Bridge Park Dog Run, (aka Main Street Dog Run), is not our favorite dog run for sure. Not all dog parks can be winners and this one below average. We give honest reviews here and this park, located in Brooklyn Bridge Park under the Manhattan Bridge, makes a good use of space that otherwise would be empty, but the fact is, the location is incredibly loud with the trains passing overhead constantly. Benji definitely wasn’t comfortable and had his ears back most of the time. We also stopped here after a busy day walking around DUMBO and was hoping to get Benji some water but they don’t have any water stations. It has two sections that are connected, a smaller one and a larger one. Both have concrete surfaces with artificial hills built into them. The park has scaffolding overhead that was put up over 6 years ago due to objects falling down from the bridge overhead, so it doesn't seem like they're planning to fix that issue anytime soon. Definitely skip this park unless you desperately need a little off leash time in this area.
