Leland Eating & Drinking House-Brooklyn
If you’re looking for an amazing spot for a date night or special occasion dinner that’s also dog friendly, look no further than Leland Eating & Drinking House! This spot in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn has a fully enclosed, heated and covered front seating area that is dog friendly. When it is warmer, there is also sidewalk seating that is fully outside. They also have homemade dog biscuits made by their in house bakers that they brought out for Benji and beautiful dog bowls for water!
Greenwood Park-Brooklyn
Greenwood Park in South Slope, Brooklyn is an old gas station turned pub with a huge dog friendly outdoor area that they fully enclose and heat when it’s chilly out! Once it warms up, the walls open up on the patio for covered and exposed area that’s great for enjoying the weather. Dogs are allowed to hang out with you and they have a full menu with pub food and plenty of drink options.
Hangar 11-Queens
Hangar 11 in Kew Gardens, Queens is another great dog friendly restaurant! This spot has a front “patio” area that is completely heated, covered and also dog friendly! (They also have fans for when it's hot.)
Hutch & Waldo-Manhattan
Hutch & Waldo is an adorable Australian cafe is located on the Upper East Side and is a great place to stop with your pup for a bite or a drink. They have a heated and enclosed outdoor seating shack that allows dogs to sit with you.
Avoca-Manhattan
Avoca in the Upper East Side is an awesome little restaurant that allows dogs indoors, offers them a bed to sit by your table, and had a dog menu with a few food options! When it’s warm they have a huge back patio that is also dog friendly.
The Standard Plaza-Manhattan
The Standard Plaza is a great spot that serves drinks, food and is dog friendly! While it is technically outdoors, it is fully covered and has so many heaters you feel like you’re in a little tropical oasis, especially with all the palm tree decor! It is located right under the south end of the High Line, which unfortunately dogs are not allowed on, but they can hang out here!
Sojourn Social-Manhattan
For a cozy evening with amazing food and a place for your dog near your table, try Sojourn Social. This spot is incredibly welcoming of dogs. They gave us a tour around the restaurant and their pasta was fantastic.
Franklin Park-Brooklyn
Franklin Park is an awesome dog friendly sports bar in Crown Heights Brooklyn that allows dogs indoors and had a huge beautiful outdoor patio! They serve food and offer great specials! (We got a beer for $2 with any burger because a football game was on!)
Blend on the Water-Queens
Blend on the Water is an amazing Spanish restaurant that does brunch and dinner. They have a fully enclosed, covered and heated back patio area that is fully dog friendly! Its a great space and has an awesome view of the river.
The Steel Mill-Brooklyn
For a cool bar recommendation, try The Steel Mill in Bushwick, Brooklyn. This new spot has a lot of great food options, fun cocktails and a great happy hour. They have a huge front outdoor seating area that is not heated or covered, but is dog friendly.
Caffeine Underground-Brooklyn
Caffeine Underground in Bushwick, Brooklyn is a great little cafe that is also dog friendly. They had some awesome unique drink options, friendly staff, and the owners were even there with their little dog! This place gives awesome community vibes and people just hang out to work or read.
Chateau Le Woof-Queens
Chateau Le Woof is an awesome little dog cafe in Astoria, NY! They have two sides, one side is a dog cafe and one side is a human cafe! You can pick up a treat from the human side and bring it over to enjoy on the dog side. The dog side has a full display of treats and things you can buy for your dog.
