Birdy's is a great dog friendly dive bar located in Bushwick, located a short walk from the Myrtle Ave JMZ stop. It has some old school charm from its stained glass light fixtures and fun retro decor. This spot definitely makes you feel at home like you're hanging in your old basement.

Clinton Hall is an awesome dog friendly spot in Manhattan. They have 5 locations in NYC but we visited their Financial District location. It was a cool spot with some truly unique food options, lots of fun games to play like giant Jenga and ping pong to play while you’re hanging out and are super dog friendly on their all weather patio.

West 72nd St Dog Run is a nice sized dog park located in the bottom half of Riverside Park. It’s got some great trees with benches that go fully around them and lots of space to run around! The ground is covered with gravel, something to note for sensitive paws.

787 Coffee is a coffee shop with 20 locations in NYC and one in NJ! We tried their financial district location at 66 Pearl St. It was a cozy little spot on a beautiful historic street in Downtown, Manhattan.

Pier 69 Market is a great little gem in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It’s located right by the water and Bay Ridge ferry stop. On a nice day, take a walk over to the pier for a beautiful view and then check out the Owl’s Head Park Dog park around the corner!

Forest Park Barking Lot in Forest Hills, Queens is a nice dog park with a natural dirt surface and a decent amount of space for running around. And you can’t beat the name “Barking Lot!”

Just Food for Dogs is a specialty dog food brand with locations all over NYC, but their Williamburg, Brooklyn location is a great option to pick up food and treats. Right off the Bedford L train at 625 Driggs Ave, you can find a full pantry of frozen dog food, a small selection of cat food, and shelf stable food as well.

Finback Brewery is an awesome dog friendly brewery in Glendale, Queens! This spot is pretty inconspicuous from the outside but go inside the blue doors to find a cool brewery with a tons of brews to try.

Northside Coffee is a cozy dog friendly coffee shop located in Staten Island with delicious drink options and cafe food. They also often have events like comedy nights and live music. They have a back patio with plenty of seating and they also allow dogs indoors if it's cold or raining. It was a great spot to check out all year round!

Bull Moose Dog Run is a dog park located in the Upper West Side right outside the Natural History Museum in Theodore Roosevelt Park. It has just completed renovations in 2020 and has some great features. It is a nice size for running around, is mostly gravel covered with a small section of astroturf, and it has some giant boulders for climbing.

Hi-Life Bar and Grill located in the Upper West Side is a restaurant with sidewalk seating all year round. They have barriers on the sides to help block the wind as well as heaters for when it gets cold.

Black Lab Cafe was formerly a fully dog friendly cafe but since January 24, 2024, they no longer allow dogs inside as they once did. Now they only allow service dogs inside as they serve full meals. They do have an outdoor seating shack, but outdoor dining will be only allowed from April-November in NYC in the upcoming year, so this will no longer be a dog friendly location all year round.

Triborough Bridge C Dog Run is a dog park located under the Triborough Bridge on the outskirts of Astoria Park. This is a dog park that makes an excellent use of the space it was given. It has a concrete surface with tons of fun hills for the dogs to run around on and rocks for climbing.

Five Boroughs Brewing Co is a cool dog friendly brewery located in an industrial building in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. They have chill vibes with plenty of indoor dog-friendly seating, tons of board games to play, TVs for watching your favorite sports, and lots of home brewed beers to choose from!

Judy Z's is one of the best dog friendly spots in Manhattan. They have indoor and outdoor dog friendly seating so you can hang out there all year round. They also have a full dog menu with dog meals, snacks, and drinks!
